Gordon M. Nesse

MADISON/WISCONSIN DELLS-Gordon M. Nesse, age 84, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Sept. 7, 1932, in Chicago, the son of Monrod and Dagny (Olsen) Nesse. Gordon grew up in Chicago. After high school he joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Upon his return, he worked for the Chicago Tribune and Marshall Fields. Gordon and his family moved to Madison in 1969, and he began working for Sears. He later worked for Madison Metro Bus Company for 20 years. Gordon loved to dance, sit on his dock, swim, and go for hikes and bike rides. He enjoyed all animals and had a very strong faith throughout the years. Gordon is survived by daughters, Christine McKenna and Eve (David) Woelfel; grandchildren, Lauren Fuetterer and Kevin Gray; five great-grandchildren; sister, Marion Lorenzin; special Friend, Andrew Agnew; mother of his children, Joyce Nesse; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Anthony Lorenzin. Private family services will be held at a later date.
