Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Been a long time since I've seen him. Last time him and Ron sat and talked a long time. Ron was in both of his weddings. Ron told him if he got married one more time he wasn't going to give him a gift. Remember him playing in the band and winning a trip to NY for the Ted Mac talent show. They didn't get on TV but won a nice trip. He was always a good friend to Ron. Hope they can meet up again. Yvonne Jorgensen

I have not seen Dave for years, but my memory of him was he was always smiling and respectful to others. Sorry for his families loss

I have many wonderful memories of my “Uncle Dave”. His years as a disc jockey at WISM and WTSO in Madison brought him to our school as a speaker talking about being a disc jockey on the radio. His presence at Thanksgiving and Christmas with his sisters Barb, Yvonne and our Mom Nancy, visiting with all of our family smiling and laughing sharing great stories of his years in the band, love of racing and Wisconsin sports. Many years announcing at Angel Park Speedway gave him great joy and many friendships. May he rest in peace and love, joining my Mom Nancy and his loving Parents Wayne and Louise in heaven. On behalf of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association and myself, we offer our condolences to the family of Dave and his fans. We didn't realize that when he attended the induction ceremonies at Angell Park Speedway where he was one of the honorees that day for the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association Hall of Fame, it would be our last time seeing him. It is hard to tell from all of the laughs and smiles whether Dave or his fans enjoyed it more. May he rest in peace.- Bill Blumer (BMARA media)
