I worked with Sharon for many years and she was a fine nurse and dedicated to those she cared for. What would the world be like if we didn’t have the Sharons to take care of us? Thank you Sharon for all the years you devoted to the care of others.

Mandy(i) and family, Your Mom left quite legacy as an OR RN. She taught us how to be an excellent patient advocate and teammate. She kept all disciplines in line and focused on our purpose, the patient. You and I never knew each other but I knew of all of you and how deep her love was for you and you family. She was so proud of you. My family spent a lot of time with her before she moved to assisted living as she lived down the street from us. I was in her long term memory so I believe she was able to accept my help as she transitioned with her memory loss. We spent many Sunday’s going to church together, sharing meals and visiting about the old days which is what she could remember. My family will miss her greatly. I had the pleasure of working with Sharon in the operating room at UW Hospital. She was passionate about quality care. Sharon was a very direct communicator and you were not left wondering what her thoughts on a situation were; she was rarely silent. Sharon never compromised on her standards; she really cared. To her family: How fortunate to be able to reflect back on her life and know she made a difference. RIP Sharon.
