Helen A. Shold

Helen and Gordon were our very good next door neighbors for 4 years in Blanchardville. Even though Gordon was the teacher and coach in school, I learned more about life from Helen. I wanted so much to play football for Gordon, alas, he and Helen and family left B'ville the summer before I was a freshman. Helen made this world a better place, for sure. (I can remember 'Dicky" playing in the backyards of the neighborhood wearing his red cowboy hat.)

Grief can be so hard, but our cherished memories help us to cope. Hold tight to those memories. Lean on each other for support. And may you find comfort in God's promise at Isaiah 41:10.

Patty and Dick, I honor the long and wonderful life of your mother. I have many fond memories of both your mother and father in school and at church. Deepest condolences to you and your families on your loss. Dennis Carpenter
