Lori and Jon, so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, and grandpa to your sweet kids. What a great thing that he chose to retire early enough to enjoy travels and family even more. I hope you can find some quiet times to let the pain of his loss ebb as the space fills in with the good memories you have.

Though I never met Hartmut, I knew of his warmth and generous spirit through the stories that Ellen told us at our book club gatherings. There is no easy way to loose a husband and father who is dearly loved. My heart goes out to all of your family . Kathy Wehrle
