Angela M Troia

MADISON – Angela M. Troia, age 46, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born on Dec. 3, 1970, in Madison, the daughter of John and Nicolette "Nicki" (Weber) Troia. Angela graduated from East High School in 1988. She was awarded a National Merit Scholarship to UW-Oshkosh, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, graduating Cum Laude and as a University Scholar. Angela was employed by RMT before joining SSM Health where she has worked for the last 10 years, currently as IT Specialist. She was involved with Strollers Theatre for many years, where she was a stage manager, actor and director. Angela was a Meals on Wheels volunteer for over 10 years. She loved the outdoors and was working on visiting every Wisconsin State Park with her faithful dog, Jake. Angela is survived by her mother, Nicki; and her brother, Nate (Liz) Troia and their children Isabel, Emily and Ava. She was preceded in death by her father, John, on Feb. 15, 2017. Memorial services will be held at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2951 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017, with the Rev. Richard Johnson presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
