BROOKLYN-Michelle J. "Micky" Finstad, age 49, of Brooklyn, passed after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born on June 8, 1967, in Madison, the daughter of George and Leona (Palmer) Baumas. Michelle is survived by fiancé, David Trolinger; children, Michael Finstad, Evangeline Edmunds, Kacee Sines and D.J. Edmunds; grandchildren, Lillian, Aria, Kaylie, Tyson, Jesse and Taylynn; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leon Pagel and Jim Pagel; and sister, Sandra (Pagel) Gouker. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, with Bob Groth presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Michelle touched many people's lives. We will miss her kindred spirit, her quick wit, her feistiness, and most of all, her words: "It is what it is. Let's roll." Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. She had a wonderful personality and a very quick wit. I always looked forward to seeing her at Kwik trip or Walgreens or any where else around town. She always had a smile and time to talk. My deepest condolences to her entire family. Sincerely Jim Snow.
