Marilyn Jean Falk

Lodi - Marilyn Jean Falk, age 90, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Divine Rehab and Nursing with family by her side. She was born on March 15, 1929, in Madison, Wisc., the daughter of Charles and Inga (Waller) Hermanson. Marilyn graduated from Madison East High School in 1947. On Sept. 2, 1950, she married Adolph "Doc" Falk. He preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 2012. Marilyn was employed with the US Dept. of Agriculture as a Computer Programmer until retiring in 1992. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and stopping at a few casino’s, reading and crafting. Marilyn is survived by her children, Linda (Harold) Brereton, Jeannette Poster, Jerry (Renee) Falk and Bea Runyan; her grandchildren, Julie (Troy) Chrisofferson, Benjamin (Annie) Brereton, Chris Falk, Nathan (Bobbi Jo) Wiesshoff, Amber (Bill) Elsing, Angela Runyan and Doug (Melissa) Runyan; her great grandchildren, Trent and MacKenzie Christofferson, Jackson Brereton, and Logan and Noah Elsing; her sister, Jan (Duane) Moore; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Adolph, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, LaVonne Pfeifer and Charlene Hermanson; and her great grandson, Tyler Christofferson. A Memorial Service will be held at FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH OF HARMONY GROVE, N2738 Cty. Rd. V, Lodi, on Thursday, October 10, 2019. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church. Service will begin at 4 p.m. with Rev. Eric Hafeli presiding. Inurnment will be in Dekorra Lutheran Cemetery.
