Janelle, Mindy,Sandra and family,
It was my honor to have known your beautiful intelligent caring matriarch. She was wise and gave me great advice. She was aware but sensible. I loved her wash clothes and still have a couple. I am so sorry for your loss of this great woman

To Lois's family and friends, I am so sorry for you loss of your mom, grandma and friend. I started at Nelson Industries in 1978 at the age of 20 and it was a small company back then. I remember Lois well as I was just starting my career that would last 35 years, and she was just about ending hers. She was so kind and reassuring. I remember her telling me "it's just a job" and "don't take life too seriously" and "lower your expectation and you will be happier". I carried her wonderful advice with me for many many years. Lois, I am happy to hear you lived a long and happy life after Nelson.

To Lois' family - This is Charlotte Wintrone's daughter, Cindy.
I was shocked to see Lois' obituary in the paper today, as I was going to visit her at Prairie Park tomorrow. I'm so sad I did not get that visit in, as our talks made my day. I used to push Mom up to her apartment in the wheelchair and we would chat and chat. She was so very special. And I loved going through all of the books she had finished coloring, and reading Oscar's stories to the whole coloring group.
My mom enjoyed your mom so much - as they both had a great sense of humor and were so kind. And, of course, we still laughed about Lois' 90th birthday party.
My mom passed away last month, so I guess they can do the conga line together again with their boas!
I am so fortunate to have known your mom
