STOUGHTON- Donna K. Duerst, age 73, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on Dec. 10, 1943, in Ripon, to Roy and Loretta (Beck) Albright. Donna attended school in Ripon. She was married to Donald Duerst on Feb. 5, 1966. After their marriage they moved to Stoughton. Donna was a homemaker and she and Donald opened their hearts and home to many foster children. She was known for taking care of everyone. Donna treasured the time she spent with friends and enjoyed cooking "Thanksgiving Dinner" several times every year. Her greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grand-babies. Donna is survived by her husband, Donald; children, David of Stoughton, Dan of Madison, and Theodore (Ashley) of Stoughton; eight grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Barbara Disch and Pamela Cox; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life Gathering in honor of Donna will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

So sorry to hear about Donna. I had visited her a few times and was always impressed by her kindness. .She had a heart of gold. May she rest in peace and my condolences to Donnie and there childlren, etc. My prayers go out to them. Sandie
