Marie L Dafoe

MADISON-Marie Lillian Dafoe, age 86, of Madison passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at New Glarus Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 12, 1931, in Hebron, Ill., the daughter of Jens and Lillie (Dahl) Norgard. Marie graduated from Alden-Hebron High School. She loved spending time doing puzzles and cherished the time she spent with her family. Marie is survived by her daughter, Joan (Ron) Gundlach; grandchildren, Dawn Bailey, Daniel (Stacey) Braun, Christine (Michael) Atkin, Cathleen Katzenberger, and Edward (Traci) McNamara; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elgin Dafoe; and brothers, Elmer, Ervin and Chris Norgard and Carl Puhl. A private family service will be held.
