Obituary
MIDDLETON-Suzanne M. Leathersich, age 68, passed away among a lot of love on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was born on April 17, 1948 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Klarmer) Selig. Suzanne enjoyed so many things in her life, golf, snowmobiling, dancing, the Left Guard, her Halloween costumes and wonderful memories. Mostly she loved to laugh. Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband John of 31 years; an extraordinary daughter Kathryn (Corkie) Bolz and her husband Ryan; stepson Leo de la Parra; her very near and dear sister Katherine Donelson; wonderful nieces, nephews, spouses and in-laws, and one old bat. In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her beloved brother James Jerome Selig and memorable sister Janet Rae Walker. Suzanne would like everyone to remember her with smiles and laughter, for that is how she will remember you. If you can only remember her with tears, then don't remember her at all. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Meriter Hospital and mostly to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. for the total love and care they provided. John, Corkie and Ryan will be at the Mid Town Pub on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1 PM until 4 PM and would love to have friends stop by to say hello and reminisce. Suzanne was like my second mom when I was younger. Corkie was my best bud growing up. I remember so many sleep overs; we spent every waking minute together it seemed. Suzanne always made sure we were happy and well taken care of. We were her gargoyles (That's what she would call Corkie and me). She knew how to make us laugh and was head over heels for Corkie. Couldn't ask for a more caring mom! I am so glad I grew up with Suzanne in my life. She will be missed dearly.

Thinking of you John and Corkie!! My favorite memory of Suzanne was watching her and John dress up on Halloween and win the Mid Town Pub costume contest!! There may have been an incident with a leaf pile as well! She also was kind enough to think of me at my wedding and gave me a new penny to wear in my shoe for good luck. I'm looking forward to celebrating her life and her laugh (that most definitely lives on in Corkie) this Saturday!! I hope her amazing spirit and memories offer you comfort during this time.
