MADISON – Michelle Elizabeth Hughes, age 12 days, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. She was born on Feb. 2, 2017, in Madison, the daughter of Brooke Hughes and Andrew Bobeck. Michelle is survived by her parents; grandparents, Julie Hughes and Chris Manz, and Jesse and Stefania Hughes; great-grandparents, Maryann and Doug Turnbull, Laura and Dan Anderson, and James and Gail Hughes; uncle, Jesse "Jr." Hughes; and many other family members. A private family service will be held. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park. This beautiful baby girl was loved more than some babies are in a lifetime. I was lucky to be able to hold her, and I'll always remember the joy that I felt in that room from Mommy and Daddy and Great-grandma. She is your perfect angel, and my heart hurts for all of you. And, even as you are feeling a grief no parent or grandparent should EVER feel, I hope you can take some small solace in the fact that she, as tiny and new as she was, saved a life. Because of her, another family didn't have to feel that grief, and that is a HUGE legacy for Michelle. That Brooke and Andrew could make such a selfless decision during such a painful time is extraordinary. Rest in peace, Beautiful Girl. Love, Linda Schmitt
