Obituary
MENOMONEE FALLS-Eric R. Scherbarth, age 29, passed away after a courageous battle with Leukemia on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017. He was born on July 21, 1987, in West Allis, the son of Brian and Cheryl (Hager) Scherbarth. Eric graduated in 2005 from Menomonee Falls High School. He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from UW Milwaukee and worked at Harley Davidson. Eric had a passion for motorcycles and cars and it became a natural part of who he was. He loved to play baseball, golf, shoot firearms, fish, and snowboard. He also loved to ride the mountain bike he built last summer. Eric is survived by his parents; sister, Amie (Jay) Heide and their son and Eric's God child, Jameson; maternal grandparents, Ron and Yvonne Hager; paternal grandmother, Rita Scherbarth; God child, Grayson Hager; beloved fiancé and light of his life, Caroline Heipp; special family friend, Kim Schuster for all her caring help; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, so many friends, and his furry buddy Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Scherbarth. A Celebration of Life will be at RADISSON HOTEL, N88W14750 Main St., Menomonee Falls, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

My husband and I had the privilege of meeting Eric about 7 years ago. He was just an all-around nice person. We were heartbroken to learn of his passing. I know he will be greatly missed!
