SUN PRAIRIE-Thomas "Tom Tom" McClain Jr., age 22, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on Oct. 21, 1994, the son of Cathy Peterson and Tom McClain Sr. Tom Tom loved all things sports, but his favorite thing to do was watch the Packers and Ohio State football games. Tom Tom is survived by his mother, Cathy; father, Tom Sr. (fiance', Becky Ary); Tom-Tom's fiance', Ashleigh Hill; brothers, Dan Peterson, Nate "Doozer" (Crystal) Peterson, R.J. Reed, Jake Kemmerer and Logan Schmit; sisters, Christy Peterson, LeiLaini Reed and Reignah Reed; nieces, Callee, Natalia and Ashlyn; nephew, Danny; godson, Jamie Ray; aunts, Mindy Sabol and family and Marcy Mahone and family; grandfather, Bill Mauerman and family; the Hill-Reed family and the Yanke family; and many more friends and family. A memorial service will be held at LAKE WISCONSIN EVANGELICAL CHURCH, N1640 Ryan Rd., Lodi, at 12 noon on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. This will be a hard time for everyone but in the words of Tom Tom, "Like my grandma always said, choose joy." Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
