Sally Marie Malven

MONONA-Sally M. Malven, age 76, of Monona, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at Heritage Monona. She was born on Sept. 1, 1940, in Cave in Rock, Ill., the daughter of Gerald and Cleone (Graham) Smith. Sally loved her grandchildren and great-grandson, they lit up her life. She loved gathering with family for dinner and holidays. Sally was a bowler, playing with ladies leagues in the Madison area. She enjoyed bingo and crafts and loved traveling to Maine with her late love, Mike. Sally is survived by her son, Jim (Dee) Keleny; daughter, Kristine Porter; step-daughter, Gail Malven; four grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Knipfer, Christopher Keleny, McKinley (Kristine) Beyer, and Vincent Beyer; great-grandson, Connor Knipfer; and sister-in-law, Susan Manalli. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandy Beyer; sister, Gail Smith; brothers, Dan and Carl Smith; and the love of her life, Mike Bowles.
