Frank L Holliday

Frank L. Holliday, age 95, died on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. He was born on March 30, 1921, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the only son of Stanley and Emma (Krueger) Holliday. Frank graduated from East High School in Madison in 1939, and from Madison Business College in 1941. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Frank married Virginia J. Clemage on June 10, 1943. He computerized the accounting department for Perry Printing Corp. before his retirement. Frank was an avid Amateur Radio Operator with the call WB9NOV. He served as president of the local Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club for two years and held other offices. Frank is survived by his daughter, Patricia Holliday of Fitchburg; and son, Richard (Mary) of Mt. Zion, Ill.; grandchildren; Kari Daggs of Sun Prairie and Kathy (Scott) Divine and their daughter, Alice of Madison, John (Anne ) Holliday and their children, Madison, Samantha and Matthew, and Jim Holliday, and his son, Kyle, all of Decatur, Ill.
