June Shaw

WAUNAKEE/MIDDLETON-June L. Shaw, age 62 of Waunakee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 8, 2017 at her home.  She was born on February 10, 1954 in Madison, the daughter of Wilfred and Arlene (Fink) Schultz.  June attended school in Middleton and MATC for Hospitality and Management.  She was a lifelong people person and was at her best when she surrounded herself with loved ones.  June was recently planning to retire & travel around the country to visit with her family.  June took great pride in cooking and baking and was an avid book reader.  She loved to spend peaceful times at home with her beloved dog, Buddy.  June loved her family and friends with enthusiasm.  She loved the outdoors and travelling "Up North" to sit around the campfire sharing memories with family.  June is survived by her son Dustin, age 32, of Black Earth; and daughter, Cammie Jo, age 30, of Lodi.  She is also survived by a sister Julie Tucci of Hansville, Wash.; a brother Michael Schultz of Homosassa, Fla.; sister, Jan Wille of Brookfield, Wis.; sister, Mona Sanchez of Austin, Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held at ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 with the Reverend Heather Hayward presiding.  Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton from 4 PM until 7 PM on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 and also on Tuesday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.
