Obituary
CROSS PLAINS-Philip Troyanowski, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017. Phil was born on July 4, 1967, in Madison, the son of Philip W. and Rose (Henriksen) Troyanowski, Sr., and has lived in Cross Plains for nearly 20 years. He worked as a CAD Operator for Madison Gas & Electric for the past 19 years. Phil was an amazing person who faced the challenges of life with kindness, strength and a sense of humor. He was a dialysis patient for over 37 years which did not stop him from enjoying classic cars, supporting the Packers or taking his furry friend, Tina Marie, for walks. Phil is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Dawn, his father Phil, Sr., a brother Troy (Greg) and his grandmother, Helen Rominski. He was preceded in death by his mother Rose. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 7 pm on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. His family would like to acknowledge the special care he received over many years from the staff at the dialysis units in Stevens Point and Madison and to thank them for their dedication and support. Of special mention are Marcia, Lila, Leslie and Lindsey at Wisconsin Dialysis. He will be missed by many family, friends and co-workers. His legacy to those who knew him are his parting words, "Go For It". Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I feel as though I really knew Phil better than just having met him a few times over the years. I knew him through all the things you've shared, Dawn, and I know he will be so very missed by you and his family and many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and will continue to be with you. I know the time you shared with Phil will be warm and loving memories in the future.
Love,
Val
