Ann Louise Chambliss

MADISON-Ann L. Chambliss, age 65, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at the UW Hospital, with her husband by her side. She was born on May 7, 1951, in Madison, the daughter of Warren and Sally Soehnlein. She married David Fosshage on Dec. 27, 1980, they were married for 20 years and had two sons Paul and Nathan Fosshage. She married Clearthurs Chambliss on Aug. 23, 2003, where she also acquired two daughters, Cynthia "Rene" Chambliss and Zena Williams. Ann graduated from Madison LaFollette in 1969. She worked for the UW Agriculture Department and was a hair stylist for over 20 years. She also worked as a paralegal, a vet-tech and was a secretary at the V.A., retiring from there after 16 years. Ann loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was best-known as grandma with the white hair and Grandma Tutti. Ann is survived by her husband, Clearthurs; children, Paul (Amber) Fosshage, Nathan Fosshage, Cynthia Chambliss and Zena Williams; mother, Sally Juene Bostad of Madison; brother, John (Kathy) Soehnlein of Janesville; sisters, Susan K. (Mike) Tuss of Waupaca; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Soehnlein of Madison; and step-father, Wayne Bostad. Funeral services will be held at MOUNT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, 2019 Fisher St., Madison, at 12 Noon, on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.
