Obituary
Arena-Terry Allen Severson, age 67, passed away on Dec. 17, 2016, in the hospice unit of the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on Dec. 19, 1948, the son of Marian Roberts. Terry married Carol Cady on Jan. 1, 1998 in Arena.
Terry was a 1967 Wisconsin Heights graduate. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He took pride in his 44 year tenure with Springs Window Fashions. Terry loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Over the years Terry loved and cared for many pets. He was a member of the Arena VFW Post 9336 and American Legion of Black Earth. Terry quietly touched the lives of many and will be remembered as a kind and generous man.
Terry is survived by: his wife, Carol; children: Tonja, Kyle (Nicole), Kevin, Chris and Leah; grandchildren: Darrin, Jacob, Kaleb and Adonis; a sister, Joyce (Mike) Severson Britton; father-in-law, Arthur Cady; brothers and sisters-in-law; Art (Susan) Cady, Bill (Rhonda) Cady; and his beloved dogs, Lincoln and Royston.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Roberts; sister-in-law, Cheryl Cady and her children Cory and Bria and many much loved pets.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, WI, on Wed., Dec. 21, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Iowa County Humane Society, 305 Co. Hwy YZ, Dodgeville, WI 53533.

Terry, was a kind and caring man. He gave us shelter and love in our time of need. He was my mom's brother, and my uncle. He will forever be in our hearts and prayers. It's with great sadness in my heart, that I can not be there, with you, to selibrate his life. To my cousins, I'm sorry I couldn't be with you today. please know, that we are there in spirit...
