MADISON-Marianne T. Grab, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Oak Park Place. She was born on April 7, 1932, in LaCrosse. Marianne was married to William L. "Bill" Grab for 63 years. She worked at Channel 15 for about 40 years and enjoyed bowling. Marianne is survived by her sons, William Jr. and Larry (Brenda) Grab; daughter, Stephanie McCumber; grandchildren, John (Lisa), Matthew (Tara), Allyson (Tom) and Patrick; seven great-grandchildren, Finnegan, Keya, Ava, Brecklynn, Lainey, Lily, and Madelyn; and sister, Patricia (Tom) Lemke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Mary was a delight to work with at Channel 15. She always had a smile and time to chat. Patience was one of her strongest virtues...especially with the unruly crowd in the news room.
