Obituary
LODI-Darlene S. (Sprecher) Wenger, age 75, of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at home unexpectedly. She was born on November 3, 1941 in Baraboo, the daughter of Albert and Alma (Pletzer) Sprecher. Darlene married Herman "Boots" Wenger on September 1, 1962; he preceded her in death on June 29, 2001. She attended and graduated from Prairie du sac High School. Darlene was a stay-at-home mom, caring for her family and enjoyed cooking. She also bartended at Vitale's as well as Dolphin's Spring Creek Inn. Darlene was an active lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. Most of all Darlene loved her family and spending time with them. Darlene is survived by her children, Diane (Joe) Prosa, Dan (Sandy) Wenger, Terry (Vicky) Wenger and Rick (Laurie) Wenger; five granddaughters, Kate Prosa, Sarah Wenger, Rachel Wenger, Amy Wenger Kelly Bendixon; three grandsons, Tyler Prosa, Shawn Wenger and Dustin Gradel; sister, Marilyn (Tom) Smith and two special sisters in law, Linda Sprecher and Elaine Sprecher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boots; son, Brian; grandson, Jesse; two sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 258 Lodi St., Lodi at 12 Noon on, Saturday, December 10, 2016 with Reverend Cyndi Wunder presiding. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Am so sorry to hear of your loss, I babysat for Darlene and Boots when I was teenager, not sure u kids would remember me(Diane, Dan) She was a great lady and will be missed by me and the American Legion Auxiliary ladies!! Rest in Peace Darlene and hold your loved ones up in heaven!
