STOUGHTON-Jeremy Herrmann, age 40, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016. He was born on Sept. 23, 1976, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Richard and Pam (Schultz) Herrmann. Jeremy graduated from Wichita Northeast Magnet in 1995 where he excelled in art. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2009 from Florida St. University. Jeremy married Holly Wilson on June 8, 2010, in Thomasville, Ga. He worked as a Web Developer for Kennedy Communications in Madison. Jeremy is survived by his wife; their son, Theo Herrmann; his parents; brother, Spencer Herrmann; paternal grandmother, Billie Herrmann; and maternal grandmother, Monti Schultz; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Arthur Schultz; and paternal grandfather, Gerald Herrmann. A private celebration of Jeremy's life will be held in Kinsley, Kan. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Theo's education in care of GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, P.O. Box 96, Stoughton, Wis., 53589. My fondest memories of Jeremy, are when we were kids. I was 6 years older than Jeremy, but that didn't seem to matter as he was always at our house when they came to visit Kinsley. We would play video games from the time we got up till the time we went to bed. As we all knew Jeremy had asthma, and my house always had pets in it, which made it hard for him to breathe. We always asked if he could have a sleep over, but early on, it was always a no. But finally after a lot of begging and pleading, they finally relented and everything wound up being ok. If there was a game on Nintendo we mastered it, from Zelda, to Contra, to Super Mario Brothers to Castlevania and every game in between. From my childhood those are the memories I always cherished the most. Even though we were technically cousins, I always thought of Jeremy as a brother back then. Even though we didn't see as much of each other as we got older, as he was living in Florida and Wisconsin and I was in California. It was great to see him turn into the loving husband, father and hard working young man we all knew he was born to be, RIP Jeremy, you will be missed more than you ever will know.

I will always remember how considerate Jeremy was with my mother. He never hesitated to take a hold of her arm so she felt more secure walking.

I remember him as a child jumping around in Arlene's living room. I have some photos of it somewhere. It saddens me that he is gone.
