MCFARLAND-Lori Ann Berg, age 46, of McFarland, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, after a long battle with substance abuse. She was born on Dec. 8, 1969, in Madison, the daughter of Ken and Jane Berg. Lori was a talented hairdresser and business owner. People were drawn to her generous spirit and infectious smile. Her favorite days were ones filled with sunshine, good music, and time spent with her family and friends. Lori is survived by her daughters, Ellie Harried and Brittany (Tyler) Stolarik; parents, Ken and Jane Berg; sister, Beth (Mike) Hanzel; brother, Andy (Maggie Ellison) Berg; her nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Captain. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A Celebration of Lori's Life, including food and fellowship, will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016. To one of my best friends, I will miss you so very much. I'm still trying to process you not being here to talk with, laugh with and love. I hope you've heard my many conversations with you lately- as they will continue forever. I know how much you used to love to sit outside at night and look up at the moon and stars - I know when I do that now, I will feel your presence there. I'll end this for now with "Love you to the moon and back"....one phrase that you said to Ellie often:) Godspeed my dear friend. You are a beautiful soul.
