BELLEVILLE-Mary Lou (Fahey) Bollig, age 77, of Belleville, passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2017.  She was born May 28, 1939, at her grandparent's home in Monticello, Wisconsin, to Robert and Palma (Marty) Fahey.  Mary Lou attended Morehead School and graduated from Belleville High School in 1957.  On February 7, 1959, she married Duane Bollig at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Belleville.  Duane preceded her in death on July 24, 2010.  They lived in the Belleville area all their married lives.  Duane and Mary Lou farmed 33 years and proudly owned a registered Holstein herd.  In addition to farming with Duane, Mary Lou worked at Prange-Way until she began her 25 year career at The Bank of New Glarus.  She later moved to the branch location, Sugar River Bank-Belleville.  Mary Lou was an active leader of the Dayton 4-H Club.  She was on St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church council and taught religious education classes.  Mary Lou volunteered her time at the Sugar River Senior Center and St. Francis of Assisi.  Mary Lou's pride and joy was spending time with her family.  Many people enjoyed her homemade treats.  She loved taking pictures and making photo albums which contain many memories.  She took great pride in her beautiful flower garden which was always colorful and admired by many.  Her home was decorated for all holidays with Christmas being her favorite.  She looked forward to visiting with her classmates and the bank retirees at their monthly luncheons.  Mary Lou was a loyal Badger and Packer fan.  She rarely missed watching a game.  Mary Lou is survived by her loving children, Randy (Clara) Bollig, Julie (Chuck) Maier, Brenda (Gregg) Simpson, Jodi (Bob) Nonn, and Bobbi (Jim) Orvick; 13 grandchildren, Jon (Savanna) Bollig, Katie (Darren) Davenport, Jeremy (Stacy) Argue, Tyson (Tori) Argue, Mitchell (Ashley) Argue, Ashley (Brad) Aschliman, Brittany Simpson, Alyssa Maiers, Westly (Tara) Nonn, Whitney and Jessica Nonn, Bailey and Logan Gable; 11 great grandchildren.  She is further survived by her sister Ruth Ann (Roger) Olson and brothers Bob (Jody) Fahey, Jim (Sheryl) Fahey and Rick (Mary) Fahey, sister-in-law Janice Bollig, brother-in-law Bob Olson, brother-in-law Calvin Christen and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sister Barb Olson, sister-in-law Helen Christen and brother-in-law Darrell Bollig.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S.
