Obituary
MCFARLAND–Patricia A. Ring, age 87, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016. She was born on April 29, 1929, to Joseph and Mary (Walsh) Mousseau. Pat graduated from Madison West High School with the class of 1948. She was united in marriage to Donald Ring on Dec. 13, 1958. Pat loved to attend Don's shows when he played in the band. She worked for the University Hospital, IBM and retired from Ohmeda. Pat was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Madison Jazz Society. She enjoyed attending the Madison Symphony, the Fireside and musicals with her friend and companion, Ray Van Kylen. Pat is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Brassington; grandson, Mark Brassington; granddaughter, Jennifer Brassington; seven great- grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Thomas and Mary Ward; and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Steven; three sisters; and one brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5306 Main Street, McFarland, at 11 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, with Father D. Steven Smith presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Dear Stephanie and family,
I worked with your Mom at Ohmeda and I am profoundly sorry for your loss. The heart your Mom had for others is a rare gift to the many people who had the privilege to know her and be blessed by her.

Pat was such a sweetheart and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a major help with our parish Fifth Week Luke House Group for many years. She will be be missed my me and by many. My Aunt Pat always gave me the privilege of laughing at my jokes. She was a busy lady with a big heart. I never had a chance to ask her if Jesus was truly Lord of her life but I know she wouldn't mind if I take this opportunity to extend the question to you now: it is the one and only thing that matters to my beloved aunt as we speak and I know she would want to make sure all her loved ones have taken care to be sure to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and secure that wonderful eternal heavenly home we all hope and pray for. Amen.

It's rare to find a friend who loved life like this friend did. It's also rare to find a friend with a more positive attitude than this friend had. It's rare too to find a friend who had a sense of humor like this friend had . And it's even more rare to keep a friend as loyal as this friend was. How blessed I was to have this lil "fireball" of a lady , named Pat Ring as my FRIEND! I love you and will always miss you, dear friend.
P.S.. I'll keep the Manhattan on ice till the time comes when we can once again laugh and share.

We definitely have another Angel above us! I have so many memories .... from her filling in at Wells Fargo to her singing at home ( and having a couple of drinks). She's babysat my daughters and was Grandma Pat to them whenever we visited.
She will be greatly missed but we will all meet again and the good times will continue ❤️
