Randall Richard Tiedt

MADISON/BEAVER DAM-Randall "Randy" R.Tiedt, age 47, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on Feb. 2, 1969, the son of Edith (Dynes) Tiedt and the late Ronald Tiedt in Beaver Dam. He married Lisa Gagnon on Aug. 15, 2003 in Madison. Randy graduated from Carroll College in 1991, with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. He started his banking career at American National Bank and spent the last 15 years at Town Bank. Randy was a dedicated family man and friend. He lived life passionately and often turned his experiences into traditions. Randy made time for everyone and neglected no one, living by the motto, "to have a friend is to be a friend." He enjoyed golfing with his friends and hosted an annual outing since 1994. Randy was a talented gardener, filling his garden with wildflowers that attracted butterflies and birds. He loved birding, a hobby which he passed on to his son, Emerson. Randy loved sports, both playing and watching, and especially enjoyed the Badgers and Packers. He was a very intentional data- driven person who made spreadsheets for everything. Randy loved travelling, both with his family and with his friends. He shared his love of Bayfield with his daughter Madeline as it was one of his "very favorite places on earth". Randall most enjoyed time spent with his kids and wife. He was an active and appreciated member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and past member of Kiwanis. Randall is survived by his mother; wife, Lisa; two children, Madeline and Emerson; mother-in-law, Carol Gagnon; sisters-in-law, Lori (Shawn) Conley, Ann (Joe) Toonen; brother-in-law, Jim Gagnon; several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew; as well as a network of wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; father-in-law, Robert Gagnon; three brothers-in-law; and several uncles and aunts. A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2670 Milwaukee St., Madison. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
