Lyndon Station/Middleton-Tamera J. "Tami" O'Neill, age 57, passed away on Friday, October21, 2016 in Milwaukee. She was born on November 7, 1958, in Madison, the daughter of the late Eugene and Joan (Williamson) Gugel. Tami was united in marriage to Michael O'Neill on July 24, 1982 in St. Luke's Church in Middleton. She grew up in Middleton and attended school there. Tami worked for many years as a waitress in Middleton and Reedsburg, where she delighted her customers with her wonderful personality. She had a variety of interests including frequent short getaways, local car racing, and Pink Floyd. She was an avid Packer and Badger fan. Tami most treasured time she spent with her family, especially her grandson, whom she adored. Tami is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Mike; her daughter, Dana (Joe) Wojczak; grandson, JJ; her brothers, Jim (Bonny) Gugel and Tom Gugel; sister-in-law, Pat Malcolm; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Amanda, Ryan, Tony, Dawn, Linus and Erin; beloved and loving dog, Cece; and other family members. Tami's friends are legion, you know who you are. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Wesley and Millie Williamson and Frank and Emma Gugel, and her beloved pooch Bogart. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 12 (Noon) on Friday, October 28, 2016, with Pastor Heather Hayward presiding. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Tami was my best friend in high school. I spent a lot of time at her house and got to know and grow very fond of her grandparents and parents over the years. I have many memories of the times we had, and thought about those times often. We lost touch after graduation, but reconnected on facebook about a little over a year ago. I am so glad that I got that period of time with her and to "meet" her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Mike, Jim, Tom, Dana, Joe and JJ. May she now have peace and comfort.
Tami, you can now fly free and can be at peace without pain. You will always be remembered by many!

I'm shocked and saddened by the news of Tami passing away. My heart goes out to Mike and Dana.
I will always cherish the memories I will carry forever. Many great memories of my one and only high school girl friend Tami, and our inseparable friends Lynn and Gary, and others who spent our teen years laughing and partying together. Many hours hanging out at Scottys(?) restaurant at the corner of University Ave and Parmenter where she worked her first job as a waitress and where she would meet Mike O'Neill.
I was always welcome at her parents home and enjoyed several Christmas dinners there learning to enjoy perfectly cooked Leftse and Lutefisk.
Mostly I will remember the twinkle in her eyes when she laughed. Which she did often.
Goodbye my friend, rest and watch over your family.
