Special, special Char such a sweet , kind lady-you always made me feel so welcome when I would visit you and Greg-lots of happy memories most recently as October 2015. I remember as a child how exciting it was to go to your wedding-a horse drawn carriage-being a horse lady beginning in my early childhood. I remember the boat trip out to lunch the year I visited after Mom's serivce in Appleton. It meant the world to me that you and Greg came to her service and the family gathering at Aunt Gert's. I know you devoted much of your life to caring for my Uncle George (your father-in-law). You raised 2 awesome children. October of 2015 I learned of the best kept secret of your incredible artistic talent. And it was so special to see in your face how much you loved Greg and he in turn loved you. You will always have a special niche in my heart Char. RIP Kathy Hansen (Greg;'s 1st cousin)

Char was a special lady. I loved going over to the house as a young child, asking to walk Jake or come in and play on her organ. She always had candies for me and treated me so kindly. I will never forget the Christmas Eves we spent at the Schultz house, savoring in her clam chowder soup, freshly roasted turkey or the numerous holiday treats and goodies . And who could forget the blue lighted Christmas trees? Char, you and your family have meant a lot to the Helser family. May you rest in peace and your family find comfort during this difficult time.

Lin Croxford was lucky enough to see Char and Greg out boating. What a great happiness they shared with all they met.

We will treasure in our hearts the memories of dating together way back when. Just last year we appreciated the effort to play cards - still competitive and fun. We know you are finally without pain, we will miss you. Kjell and Arliss

Family and friends were always a priority for Char. As a friend of the family, I have many treasured memories of her famous gatherings and food at summers on the boat and during the holidays, even has the snow swirled. Her BBQ ribs and chowder were famous as was her tolerance for Pam and I dancing in the living room to ridiculous tunes over and over again. Thanks Char, for opening your heart and home to all, and for being who you were. You'll be missed. My love and thoughts to her family.
