I have so many favorite memories so I'm just going to say her smile. It warmed my soul and lit up the room. Every trip back to Wisconsin I was excited to have some Barb time. Saturday morning farmers markets, family celebrations, or just a visit were always fun! I will miss that sparkle in your eyes, your beautiful smile, and your quick wit!!! My heart is broken for us left behind, but I am rejoicing for you! You are home!

Class of 1991 - we loved her classes! Even if we did have something to do with her retirement... lol *She made a bet with the boys basketball team - win state and i will retire. We did, she did! Her classes were so much fun. I hope your family find peace knowing that even 30 years later she is remembered fondly with a smile and a chuckle.

I remember Barb when she volunteered at Meriter. My parents (Mark and Laurie Fields) spent a lot of time as patients there and Barb always made sure to check in with them and make them feel as "welcome" as she could. Every time I walked into Meriter, I'd find myself glancing over to see if Barb was volunteering for the day .... She always knew we were from her beloved Shullsburg! Rest easy Barb! You certainly made a difference in the lives of so many!!

I am so sorry for your Loss! She was my favorite teacher and She was amazing! I loved her smile. I still use the skills in business that she thought me today in my business! I did keep in touch with her thru the years and always tried to get a Christmas card to her! She would tell me in her Christmas card I received how proud she was of all her children!
