Obituary
EVANSVILLE-Vicki E. Schmieder, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at the UW Hospital, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on Nov. 11, 1958, in Stoughton, the daughter of Gerald and Betty (Dutcher) Schucht. Vicki worked for Placon Industries for 10 years. She was an animal lover. Vicki is survived by her husband, Juan Fonseca; and sister, Debra Schucht. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Vicki's life will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Evansville. A special thank you to Placon for allowing Juan to spend time with Vicki and to the staff at UW Hospital for all of their love and support.
