Obituary
MADISON-Makenzi Lee VonBehren, age 22, beloved daughter of Curtis Lee VonBehren and Loriann Aubin, and sister of Justin Calvin VonBehren, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born on February 20, 1994 in Madison. Makenzi graduated from Madison Memorial High School in 2012, graduating in the top of her class. She loved art, photography and had a very giving, kind and caring heart, especially for her family and her kitty Rue. She sang beautifully and had a love of writing and reading. Makenzi was often seen with a book in her hand. She and her brother, Justin, shared a special bond. Makenzi is survived by her parents, her brother, grandmothers, Judith Ann Aubin and Shirley Schroeder, boyfriend Jamil Abdel, special friend Steven Pfarrer, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Calvin VonBehren and Robert L. Aubin, and uncle James A. VonBehren. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 3 PM on Sunday, October 9, 2016, with Pastor Andrew Henderson of City Church of Madison presiding. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Lori, Curt and Justin: Madeline and I had the opportunity to talk with Makenzi last year while she was working. She was the same smiley girl I remembered from years ago in elementary school. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now. The Tautges Family sends it's condolences. I'll be praying that you feel God's enduring love during this time of sorrow . Diane
