Benjamin Nathaniel Swanson-Carter
January 30, 2006 - September 27, 2016
Obituary
"Sons are indeed a heritage from the LORD, children, a reward." (Psalm 127:3)
Benjamin Nathaniel Swanson-Carter was called home to be with the Lord, September 27, 2016. Ben was given the gift of life on January 30, 2006, and throughout his 10 year journey here on this earth, he enriched the lives of all who came in contact with him. Amazingly, the Lord used Ben to produce only love, kindness and compassion in the hearts and lives of all he came in contact with, a very rare, but highly valuable, and greatly needed endowment from God, to all of us here on earth. For that, Ben will be greatly missed, (but never forgotten). And for all who share in Ben's love for the Lord Jesus Christ, we anticipate experiencing with Ben, "the ages to come in which, God will show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus". (Ephesians 2:7). Ben leaves behind his loving parents...Brian Carter and Larina Swanson-Carter and Dawn Tomlinson. His siblings - Lily, Diamond, Jacob, Lauren, Jade, Henry, Oliver and Journey, and his grandparents - Les and Dorothy Carter, Russell and Jane Swanson and Tom and Marianne Tomlinson. A Memorial Service for Ben will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Calvary Chapel Madison, 4702 E Broadway, Madison, Wi 53716 with a visitation from 1-3pm and a 3pm service. Any questions, call 608-273-2911. "How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light." (Psalm 36:7-9)

I am so sorry to hear of Ben's death. What a special young man he was. I believe I met him at a Legion Steak fry last summer. What a special angel God has received. Love and hugs to mom, dad and siblings.
