I'll never forget Millie's gruff manner, but you always knew there was a fierce love behind that. The homemade cookies she sent with us in an ice cream pail to the tobacco fields every afternoon were the best! Rest in peace, Millie. My deepest condolences to Doc, Dale and Sandy and kids, and the whole family.
