Remembering Park Falls in the Wisconsin summer. Sitting down to a dinner of Spaghetti that Aunt Violet had prepared. Uncle Pete went directly to the front room hankerchief over mouth and nose to avoid toxic Oregano fumes. Aunt Violet turns to us kids and asks; "Anyone care for a beverage?" Pete and Teresa both are about to double over laughing.. I used that line with daughters while they were young.., never got the same laugh, but I never forgot the moment..🥛

Sincere sympathy to the Kanikula family. Violet always provided an interesting conversation, and the lake resort allowed relatives of mine to spend time in the Northwoods!
