STOUGHTON - Bonnie J. Lewis, age 82, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, peacefully in her home in Stoughton, Wis., surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 25, 1941, in Ponka City, Okla., to Archie and Anita Young.
Bonnie graduated from nursing school in 1962. She worked as a nurse in the U.S. Airforce, displaying her love for caring for those in need. Bonnie truly lived life to the fullest through her loyalty to her church, unwavering faith in the Lord, traveling with her granddaughter, and spending time with her beloved friends. She loved reading her Bible, exercising, and getting her nails done at the salon.
Bonnie is survived by her granddaughter, Brieanna; her grandson, Ryan; her great-grandson, Milo; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jan; daughter, Janine; granddaughter, Tori; and her 11 siblings.
A funeral service will be held to honor Bonnie’s life at STOUGHTON BAPTIST CHURCH, 125 County Road B, Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
