Sending condolences, love, and hugs from the Glennie family. Your family has always been a treasure full of fun and happy memories. May fond memories of Irma help ease the pain during this difficult time. So wonderful that she was surrounded with family and "Team Irma". Lynn, your speech certainly captured her spirit. What a lovely service, very calm & serene. So nice that we could be there remotely. I recall laughing with Irma about Tom Jones's cute butt as we drove to the Packers game!! -Judy Enjoyed the great times at the Packers games and your visit to Nevada. -Bob With sympathy, Bob, Judy, Sheila, Ron & Shannon, and Logan.

EULOGY Good Morning. I’m Lynn Lizak, one of Irmas daugters and I wanted to paint you a picture of who my Mom was First and foremost, she was a teacher and had a passion for learning Our Mom spent 9 years getting her Masters Degree while raising 4 children and spent the next 30 years teaching children to read She had fortitude and was accepting of whatever life presented her When our Dad passed away suddenly our Mom was left to raise my younger brother and I, and if you ever met Mark, you would understand that it was quite a challenge! When it felt like everything was falling apart, she held us all together and carried us thorough our loss She belonged to many families The family she was born into with her sister Anita Our family Her School family and her Church family All of these were very important to her She loved to read, paint, garden and bake Her Christmas cookies were out of this world! She loved music and she loved to dance Disco and Tom Jones were her favorites The 70’s were a big deal in our house and still are She had a wonderful sense of humor and contagious laugh It was impossible not to smile when you were around her She listened more than she spoke and gave without expecting anything in return Her eyes were the most vibrant color of blue, they actually sparkled! She enjoyed the finer things in life like coffee, chocolate, black licorice and an occasional rum and coke She loved that her Birthday was on Halloween and got a kick out of seeing all of the children’s costumes and handing out candy Thursday nights were all about comedy, particularly Young Sheldon and Saturday nights were devoted to Horror with Svengooley Her favorite color was Robins egg blue, which she painted her entire house Her favorite season was Fall and she considered herself the number #1 Packer fan She was a kid at heart and would get just as excited as we would for snow days and equally looked forward to summer vacation She had a soft spot for stray cats, guinea pigs and my chihuahua Fawny and considered Swatches, her calico cat, her companion and co-pilot Amidst the chaos, she was able to find time for solitude and contemplation Both of which she really treasured. Her faith was supported by her close friends Joanie, her neighbor and Beth, with the church This past year with our Mom has been the most enjoyable and melancholy time we have spent together. Grieving little losses along the way yet savoring all these moments at the same time. She lived in her home for 50 years and peacefully left us in the very same place We were fortunate for family and friends to come together to make our Moms time with us as gratifying as possible. We were “Team Irma” which consisted of my sister Lisa, myself, Bernadette, my Moms neighbor, Claire, our niece, my daughter Sage and the amazing folks at Agrace. It was dark, windy and rainy the day she said goodbye, however, right in that moment when she left us, a smile appeared on her face and the rain stopped and the sun came out for only about 10 minutes and then got stormy again. This calm in the storm, to me, felt like God was saying, “ It’s okay, I can take it from here”. I think it goes without saying that she was loved immensely and will be missed.
