Oregon-James B. "Jim" Hillestad, age 88, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Evansville Manor. He was born on July 24, 1930, the son of C.J. and Martha Hillestad. He married Ann Hansen on August 6, 1955. James is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Kristen and Karen Hillestad; grandchildren, Nicki (Ronnie) Dupre and Ian Hillestad; sisters, Ruth Hilgers, Marjorie Darling; and brother Robert Hillestad; and several other family and friends. Hank and I loved talking with Jim at church and during Bible studies we were in with him. He always had interesting stories and was a man of great wisdom.
