Becky and I are proud to say that we are fortunate for we knew Al and Margie and they were friends of ours. We enjoyed their company often and were blessed due to their friendship. Some say one's success can be measured from the result of nurturing their family to become successful contributors to society. By this measure, Al and Margie were successful beyond words. Becky and I shall miss our friend, Al.

I will always remember how cheerful and genuine Al's smile was. Always smiling and funny. My thoughts and prayers are with his family

To Patty, Brent, Luke, Zach, and the entire Meier family; Al (Toots, as we affectionately called each other) was like a second dad to me during High School when Patty and I constantly hung out together. He was my Confirmation sponsor, and he cheered loudly for us at our softball games. Toots always had a smile and a hug for me. I have such fond memories of him and will miss him deeply.
