Royce was caring and went the extra step in so many ways. He was my science teacher for physics and advanced biology and and independent study he organized with Ruth DeWitt so I would be best prepared to pursue becoming a doctor at a time before Oregon High School had AP classes. Was great to be able to thank him when I saw him years later. Love and prayers to Laryssa, Karen, and his wider family and community

Karen and Laryssa, seems so strange to call you, “Karen.” You have always been Mrs. Kruel to me. 😉 As you know, I had the honor of babysitting Eddie and Laryssa for a couple of summers and an occasional evening here and there. I would ride my bike into town to babysit while you taught summer school. My deepest condolences go out to you both. I am going to try to make it to the visitation. Unfortunately, my day is pretty filled on Saturday. If I can’t make it in person, please know you will both be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Jeannette Radtke Weber
