Obituary
MADISON- Ronald L. “Ron” Zadra, age 81, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on November 4, 1936, in Iron Mountain, Mich., the son of Louis and Mary (DeRidder) Zadra. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann VerBurst on Feb. 15, 1958, in Niagara, Wis. Ron worked as a court reporter for the circuit court, he retired happily after 55 years. Ron loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved dogs, especially his beloved Annie. Ron is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, Mike (Judi) Zadra, Jim (Jan) Zadra, Dan (Kathy) Zadra and Tom (Renee) Zadra; grandchildren, Jake, Justine, Mitch, Katie, Jason, Travis, Andrew and Trey; and sister, Maureen Naidenovich. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Trina Renee; and brother, Gary Zadra. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m., on Monday, July 16, 2018. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dane County K9s at www.danecountyk9.org. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Weber and the team at the Dean Clinic Cancer Center for the wonderful care.

I remember how you came to every game I ever played in, even when you had to work late you came in your suit and tie. That really meant a lot to me. Whenever I did something I never looked at the score board. I only looked at you. 🏈 I also appreciate all the times you pitched to me even after I broke your leg hitting you with a batted ball. ⚾

Sympathy to the Zadra family. I worked with Ron many years ago in Probate Court. He was always a happy man. He always had a smile on his face. He was most proud of his family. I heard many stories about his wife, sons and grandchildren. Family was definitely his pride and joy. RIP Ron.
