We met Doris many years ago through our good friends, Linda and Paul Ludden. Doris was a warm, friendly, and generous person. We feel lucky to have known her. Sending our sincere sympathy to all her family. Pam and Bob McDonald

Doris was one of the best friends I ever had. When we were neighbors and I was laid up, she would walk down the block and do whatever she could to help me out. When I got remarried, she came to my wedding. Doris really liked my new husband, Carl and Carl liked Doris. They were like 2 peas in a pod whenever we were together. I'll never forget coming out of the restroom at the movie theater and there stood Doris next to Carl. We didn't know she was at the movie. I have continued to visit Doris after we lost Carl in 2015. She was one special lady who will always be remembered by many.

Doris was everyone’s substitute Aunt or Stepmom… a heart of gold and behavior to match. She would celebrate your accomplishments and console (and encourage) you. in your challenges. A role model for anyone looking for kindness. Wexwere blessed to know her. — Jim H

Doris was a wonderful lady. I met her from church during Covid. I was able to do her grocery shopping. I loved hearing her stories of travel and her adventures. May she rest in peace. She will be missed here.

Doris was a caring, helpful and cheerful person. I worked nearby her for 20 of her 25 years at CUNA. Her Christmas party Mrs. Santa Claus is a prime example of her good nature.
