Madison - Virginia May Worrell, age 98, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Capitol Lakes Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on Feb. 2, 1924, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Inga and Anton Olson.
Virginia married Donald Worrell on May 3, 1944, in Marion, S.C., and they lived in different cities enjoying U.S. Army Air Corps life together. She loved her happy marriage and the years that she and Donald shared together bringing kindness and love to pets and animals.
Virginia was blessed to have in her life, her sister, Marion Olson; a niece of Madison; two nephews of Madison and California; and beloved in-laws in Pennsylvania and Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on May 9, 1982; her parents; her much loved mother and father-in-law; brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law.
Grave side services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
