QUEENS CREEK, Ariz. / MADISON, Wis. - Mary E. Wolfe, age 97, of Madison, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Estancia Assisted Living. She was born on Feb. 17, 1926, in Madison, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Haight) Doll.
Mary was united in marriage to Charles Wolfe on Feb. 23, 1946, in Wis. She worked as a cashier in food service for many years. Mary loved camping, reading, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Sandy Larsen; sons, Jim (Peggy), Perry, Chuck Jr., and Jeff (Linda); brother, Thomas (Carol) Doll; brother-in-law, Earl Chandler Sr.; sister-in-law, Shirley Doll; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; son-in-law, Larry Larsen; daughter-in-law, Christie Wolfe; grandson, Timothy Wolfe; great-granddaughter, Shawna Bronson; brothers, Robert Doll, Jerry Doll and Richard Doll; and sister, Theresa Chandler.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, with Father Michael Radowicz presiding. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be gifted in Mary’s name to Noble Hospice and Palliative Care in Arizona.
