MADISON - Judith Mae Wilson, age 65, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022. She was born on Aug. 15, 1956, in Portage, Wis., the daughter of Donald and Betty (Wilke) Wilson.
At the young age of 31, Judy suffered a stroke that limited her speech and mobility, but she
never lost her sense of humor. She enjoyed time with family, friends and her pets. A lover of animals, her nurses remember affectionately when a pet bird flew out a window. While the bird was recovered, Judy was willing to tear down walls to make sure that bird was found. Her family would like to give special thanks and recognition to the nursing staff that cared for her 24 hours a day and enabled her to maintain some independence.
Judith is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Joshua) Smith and Alison (Abdelrahman Farag) White; brothers, Daniel (Eileen) Wilson, Michael Wilson, Timothy Wilson and Todd Wiggen; sisters, Elaine Wilson and Sandra (Steve) Powell; and grandchildren, Jaelan Wilson, Moses Smith, Isaac Smith, Zaynab Abdelrahman and Ruqayyah Abdelrahman. She was preceded in death by her parents.
