Obituary
VERONA - David Edwin Wing, age 67, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, of kidney failure, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center, in Verona. He was born on March 10, 1953, at General
Hospital, in Madison, the son of Don and Audrey Wing.
David enjoyed listening to 70's music, watching DVD movies, looking at his Madison and Milwaukee magazines and looking at picture books of skyscraper buildings.
David is survived by his siblings, Mary, Dennis (Judy), Duane (Connie), Patty (Dean), Luanne (Dean); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

My heart goes out to the entire family that supported David in his many hobbies and years of happiness. David was truly a bright light at Badger Prairie and will be missed dearly. I will always remember his excited face, how he brightened so many people’s days with a “well don’t you like nice today”, and his charming morning knocks on my office door. I will miss his talking of Meriter and the big cities... as well as his never ending excitement for the little things in life, like meatloaf. 😍 Rest Easy buddy, and see you up there someday.

My heart truly goes out to David's entire family. David will always be a part of my 2nd family. I have a special place in my heart for him. I will always remember that smile first thing in the morning and how excited he was to see me. I remember him asking me if I will be here the next morning? I always told him yup bright and early. I loved how excited he got when he would show me his new Madison and Milwaukee magazines he got in the mail. I have fond memories of bringing my puppy Blu in on my days off to see him. He will be dearly missed not only by myself, but all of Badger Prairie staff. I truly hope you all know how much he loved you dearly and spoke often of you. My sympathy to David's family. I worked at BPHCC in Administration from 1990-1995. I've spoke of David many times in the last 25 years. I told people it was the best job I ever had. I came to work, was greeted every morning by David with "Well, Sue, don't you look beautiful (or lovely, gorgeous, pretty, etc) today." Where else in the work world do we get that greeting? He started our day beautifully, everyday. It was my pleasure to know and love your brother 25-30 years ago. I doubt that I have made that kind of impression on anyone in my life. We could all learn a lot from David's example. Be kind and complimentary to everyone you meet.
