Thank you for coming to my graduation party all those years ago, with my mom. You always showed me how to laugh, and. you will be greatly missed. I will be sure to always enjoy a strawberry shortcake at Culvers going forward, every year on your birthday. Prayers to your family.

Barbara frequented the restaurant I managed on the west side of Madison. We grew close, and she exchanged many stories of her past with me. I am grateful for having met Barbara, and send my (belated) condolences to her family.

I am not sure if this memory will be seen by any of Barbara's family and friends. I was a 4th grade and 8th grade student of Barbara's at St Stephen Martyr church in Milwaukee. I cherish the time when she was my teacher and how we continued to exchange cards now and then, but especially at Christmas. Her dedication and her love will continue to be felt every day of my life. I owe so much knowledge, character and my love for God to her. She cared for all of her students and the people of the parish, but most of all we had a special friendship that carried us to years beyond grade school and even our visits during my high school and early married years. I remember introducing her to my first child and the time she spent with myself and my fellow classmates at our class reunions. I will be 75 this year and even though we lost touch in the last decade, I know we will catch up with each other again and share more lessons, the ones we will reminisce about in heaven and the ones the Lord will let us create together in His heavenly home. I know God has a special place and purpose for Barbara, just as she knew He did here on earth. God give you eternal rest Sister and friend. Marlene (Totsky) Dunn Till Appleton, WI
