Obituary
MADISON- Dennis L. Virnig, age 68, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at UW Hospital. He was born on April 28, 1954, in Richland Center, the son of Vincent and Mary (Tobias) Virnig. Dennis lived in the Madison area his entire life. He grew up on Lake Waubesa spending his younger days swimming and fishing. Dennis graduated from Oregon High School.
Dennis enjoyed living a quiet life, listening to country music, coloring and putting together jigsaw puzzles. He had a love for animals and sweets, in particular 7-up and butterscotch candies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lee V. Virnig.
A celebration of life spreading kindness in Dennis’ honor and sharing a meal together will be held at THE BEACON, 615 E. Washington Ave., Madison, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022.
