Obituary
MARSHALL-Wallace W. "Wally" Voigt, age 78, of Marshall, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He married Judith Carol McDonald on Feb. 10, 1979, and together they resided in Marshall. Wally served in the U.S. Navy and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years. Prior to that he worked in the accounting profession in capacities of controller, internal auditor and accounting manager. He was a dedicated member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall. Wally is survived by many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wally's honor to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Agrace HospiceCare. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Wally was always considered part of our family. He attended weddings, funerals and family reunions even after his beloved Judy died. He had a great dry sense of humor and was a compassionate and caring man. Our Aunt Carrie was visited at least once a year by Wally, bringing with him homemade pies and donuts. She adored him! There is no doubt he is now being embraced by his Judy and by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
